China Smart Manufacturing Folding Open Core Equipment Appears in Indian International Transformer Manufacturing
On March 16, 2017, India International Winding, Stamping and Transformer Manufacturing Exhibition opened in India.
The folding open core equipment made by ChinaSmart has appeared in India International Transformer Manufacturing Exhibition. The folding open core production line is a new type of intelligent equipment representing the processing of transformer core. It can not only produce rectangular core with equal width, but also produce three-dimensional closed core or open core. Shenyang Jiaheng Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. is a related equipment technology and related transformer products. The product has applied for 44 national patents and 4 international patents, including 13 invention patents and 31 utility model patents, and has obtained 26 certificates. Among them, on December 20, 2015, China Electric Power Enterprise Federation identified "folding double-seam three-dimensional open core transformer" as an international advanced level.
India International Winding, Stamping and Transformer Manufacturing Exhibition is the only professional transformer industry exhibition in India, which has received strong support from the Indian Transformer Manufacturing Association. This exhibition is the most professional and authoritative transformer related equipment exhibition in India. It is an excellent platform for displaying coils, stamping, insulation materials, transformers and other products. Theme of 2017 Conference: Transformer Innovation in Indian Power Grid Application.
The Indian Transformer Manufacturing Association (ITMA), founded in 1979, is mainly engaged in improving the manufacturing level, technology and materials of transformers in Indian transmission and distribution networks. The association has more than 250 members of India's top transformer equipment and manufacturers.
India's economy has developed rapidly in recent years, and its growth rate is far higher than the average growth rate of the world economy. Due to the lagging infrastructure, India will invest $1 trillion in infrastructure construction during the 12th Five-Year Plan period from 2012 to 2017. According to statistics, about 600 million of India's 1.1 billion people still do not have access to electricity.
From 2015 to 2020, the Indian government will concentrate on expanding the transmission and distribution network. Compared with the previous five-year plan, investment will increase dramatically, which is expected to lead to strong growth in the transmission and distribution transformer industry in the next five years. The upcoming government projects, such as green energy corridors for renewable energy generation, will further increase the installation of transmission and distribution transformers throughout the country. India has also entered into technical cooperation with Germany, which will expand technical assistance to upgrade India's existing grid and promote the proportion of renewable energy in the grid. Other initiatives, such as the restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reform Plan, aim to provide basic power infrastructure for rural residents and households in India, thus increasing the demand for transmission and distribution transformers.
In the last five years to 2020, India's transmission and distribution transformer market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 10.5%.
